Rama

Rama is a name of Sanskrit origin, meaning "pleasing" or "dark-skinned". It is often used in Hindu mythology as the name of one of the ten incarnations of the god Vishnu, known for his heroic deeds and adherence to righteousness. The story of Rama begins with his birth in Ayodhya, where he was born to King Dasharatha and Queen Kausalya. As a prince, Rama was renowned for his strength, courage, and wisdom, qualities that made him beloved by all those around him. However, when his father decided to crown his eldest son Bharata as the heir apparent, Rama refused to accept it and went into exile for 14 years.
