Dhruva

Dhruva is a male given name of Sanskrit origin, meaning "fixed" or "steadfast." It is derived from the Sanskrit word "dhruva," which translates to "constant" or "unwavering." In Hindu mythology, Dhruva was the son of King Uttanpad and his wife Suruchi. Due to a curse by his father's other wife, Suniti, Dhruva was abandoned as a baby but later became the pole star, also known as the North Star, which remains fixed in its position despite the Earth's rotation. As such, the name Dhruva is often associated with steadfastness and constancy.
